Dear ADHD Community, and Medical Professionals,

Thank you to everyone who have already completed the survey so far we have well over 1,000 responses.  It is still open for anyone to who would like to participate and you are welcome to complete the survey as we continue to gather your valuable feedback.  It will only take approximately [1-2] minutes to complete.

Please bear in mind that this particular survey was created to collect information on the current state of availability for adults and parents to obtain appointments with either a psychiatrist or a paediatrician. We thank you for all your additional comments which offer valuable insights.  The information we gather will support our claim and help inform the government, medical colleges and others of the crisis facing our ADHD community right now.

This survey is focused the current shortage  of psychiatrists and paediatricians, however, if you are still seeking a clinical psychologist or a coach you can answer a few questions and put your comments at the end.  We do understand that there are many more issues than this survey is designed to gather data for at this time and we welcome all your comments in the comment sections at the end.

The ADHD Foundation will be running an ongoing survey covering multiple issues such as cost of treatment, lack of public health, cross border prescriptions and other issues at a later date. However, your comments relating to this survey or what you would like to see in a future survey are extremely valuable. We would appreciate it, if you write these in the comments sections below.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary however, the more information we can gather, the better our data will represent each area, be it regional, rural or metro.   If you still need to find a psychiatrist or an paediatrician please click on our link here   Contact Us - ADHD Foundation | Epping, New South Wales  and send a separate enquiry so that we can help you.

The ADHD Foundation believes that government needs to know the extreme hardship that our community faces when attempting to secure an appointment to get treatment for themselves or their family.Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate.
